John and I were on the same baseball team when we were 15 and 16. We won the championship our 1st year due in part to his tremendous southpaw curveball. Went to Yankee Stadium with him and ate great sandwhiches from the market plenty of times. To his wife and daughters my sincere condolences-peace-
