Peter L. Reid Jr., 29, of Terryville, died Wednesday (April 17, 2013) at his home.
Peter was born April 25, 1983 in Bristol, CT .He was the son of Peter L. Reid Sr. and Margaret (McIntyre) Reid of Terryville and has been a lifelong resident of Terryville. He was a graduate of Terryville High School and of UCONN. He served on government boards and the student government of UCONN. Peter was employed by Burt Processing Equipment of Hamden. Pete was a big fan of UCONN sports.
Besides his parents he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Carl Stein of Terryville; his nephew and niece, Devon Walter Stein and Amber Rose Stein; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday (April 22, 2013) 11:00AM at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville.Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Scott Funeral Home, in care of Peter Reid to offset the funeral expenses. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
