Yvette (Caron) Michaud, 86, of Torrington, former Plymouth resident, widow of Leonard Michaud, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at home. She was born on December 4, 1935, in Wallagrass, ME, daughter of the late Paul and Yvonne (Morin) Caron.
Yvette was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Ann Church, Bristol. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Corbin Russwin in Berlin. She loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Yvette leaves behind her son Alan Michaud and his wife Anna of Torrington; her daughters, Patricia Quandt of GA, and Bernice Meyer and her husband Brian of Torrington; her brother Paul Caron of ME; her sister Rita Taker of FL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Gerald, Kenneth, Nelson, Elmer, and Oneil Michaud; her brothers, Leo, Roger, Henry and Harold Caron; her sisters, Annette Michaud and Bernadette Mornault; her granddaughter Angela Quandt and her son-in-law David Quandt.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Friday, November 18 2022, at Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
