Wilma (Moffitt) Pinette, 80, of Wolcott, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at home with her family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1942, in Vermont.
Wilma loved to do puzzles, go to bingo, and play dominos. She enjoyed camping, traveling to Maine and visiting family in Vermont. She went to the Bluegrass Festival every year. Her life revolved around children. Throughout her life she always had a part of helping raise the kids in the family.
Wilma is survived by her son Michael Moffitt of Wolcott; her daughter Brenda Bartlett and her husband Robert of Southington; her siblings, Kathy Johnpiere and her husband Bob of Plymouth, Paul Devenow and his wife Sue of Thomaston, Nancy Cyr and her husband Larry of Burlington, and Laurie Dionne of Wolcott; her 10 grandchildren, and her 11 great grandchildren, whom she loved and adored so much, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Wilma was predeceased by her husband Fernand Pinette; her children, Kevin and Deanna Pinette, and her sister Lousie Doucet.
A graveside service will be held for Wilma on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol, at 11 AM. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting the family with arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
