Valerie A. Wells

Valerie passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26th, 2026, at Bristol Hospital. She was born on May 11th, 1962, to her father David Wells Sr. And her mother Sandra Wells (Litz). She was predeceased by her father David Wells Sr., mother Sandra Wells (Litz), 2 sisters, 1 brother, and grandson Tyler Ball. She was survived by her stepmother Dorothy Well, daughter Nikki Wells, son Alexander Ward Sr. and wife Krysten, 5 grandchildren, Tyra Ball, Trevor Wells, Alexander Ward Jr., Braedyn Wells, and Layla Ward, great grandson Luca Leon, brother David Wells Jr., 6 sisters, Dawn Capobianco, Debra Millman, April Kobuta, Tracy Hotham, Naomi Colella, and Tanya Heyard, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.  

When she was working she loved to joke around with her customers at The Whole Donut in Terryville. In her spare time, you could find her playing cribbage and card games or watching her daily soaps. She always enjoyed her summer barbecues and spending time with her family. She spent plenty of time crocheting, which allowed her to gift handmade items to her loved ones. 

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, from 1-5pm at 330 Burlington Ave in Bristol
