Thomas Porter

Thomas Henry Porter, 72, of Bristol, husband of Bonita (Carpenter) Sanada-Porter, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at Bristol Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1952, in New Britain, son of the late Henry and Bernice (Tracy) Porter.

Tom was employed by Bristol Hospital for many years. He loved his co-workers at the hospital; they were very special to him. Tom loved to fish, go camping, and just be outdoors. He was always smiling or laughing and always tried to have fun. Tom had such a big heart and loved his family.

Besides his beloved wife, Bonita, Tom is survived by his son Brandon Porter; his stepdaughters, Shannon Poulin and her husband Jonathan, Hillary Scribner and her husband Cameron and their daughter Leah, Ashley Sanada and Jessica Sicisco and her husband Frank and their children Francesca and Frankie; his brother Henry Porter and his wife Dawn; his sisters Mary Jane Bennett and her husband Roland and Linda Reardon; his very good friend Clarissa Sumner, and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Tom was predeceased by his parents, his sister Nancy Smart, his brother-in-law Marty Reardon, his nieces Elisabeth and Katie and his good friend and Pastor, Harvey Sumner.
