Thomas B. Linnell, 73, of Pequabuck, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at home. He was born April 29, 1949, in Bristol, son of the late Everett and Maude (Kovaleski) Linnell.
Tom proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was as an assistant manager at Grand Rental Station in Bristol and he was also employed by Mt. Southington and the Pequabuck Post Office. He loved skiing, gardening and swimming. Tom was active in the Nancy Johnson campaigns and a member of the Republican Town Committee. He was a member of the American Legion Plymouth Post 20, the Bristol Polish Club, and the Crocodile Club in Bristol.
Tom is survived by his sister Sharon Apt of Pequabuck; his brother-in-law Lawrence Meccariello; his nephews, Russell Apt, Ryan Apt, and Bryan Meccariello and his wife Kate; his cousin who was very special to him, Jennifer Toth and her husband Scott; and many friends, including Alex Klaneski. Tom was predeceased by his sisters, Carol Linnell and Diane Meccariello.
