Theresa D. Urban

Theresa D. Urban, 84, of Terryville, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2022, at Bristol Hospital. Born on April 7, 1938, in Bristol, to the late Julius and Mary (Sienski) Urban.

Theresa graduated from Terryville High School in 1956 and she worked at O.Z. Gedney, until her retirement in 1987. She was a parishioner of St. Casimir Church, Terryville, and a member of the Women’s Guild. Theresa loved her family, her Church, UCONN Women’s Basketball, the Yankees, bowling and gardening.

Theresa is survived by her sister Susan Steiner of Terryville; her nephew David Valencis of Terryville; her brother-in-law Raymond Cote of Terryville; her nieces and nephews, Denise Martin and her husband Bryan of Farmington, Michael Cote and his wife Jennifer of Terryville, Christopher Urban and his wife Kathleen of Harwinton, Catherine Ieronimo and her husband David of Plymouth, and Victoria Tetreault and her husband Peter of Burlington; and several great nieces and great nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Urban and Patricia Cote; her brothers John and Peter Urban; her sister-in-law Sue Urban; her brother-in-law Fred Steiner; and her nephew Russell Valencis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at St. Casimir Church, 17 Allen St, Terryville, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends may call at Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, on Monday from 5 to 7 pm.
