Terry W. Stevenson

Terry W. Stevenson, 76, of Winchester, husband of Mary (Rotkiewcz) Stevenson, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. He was born July 28, 1947, in Bristol, son of the late William and Carmen (Raymond) Stevenson.

Prior to his retirement, Terry was the owner and operator of TW Stevenson Home Remodeling. He was a man of integrity and a talented craftsman with a strong resolve, Above all else he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his wife, Terry is survived by his sons, Matthew Stevenson and his wife Nadene of Litchfield, Jason Stevenson and his wife Dottie of Torrington; his daughter Leigha DeSmith and her husband Matt of Torrington; his brothers, Bob Stevenson of NH, Dan Stevenson of Plymouth, Jack Stevenson of Harwinton, and Bruce Stevenson of Bristol; his brother-in-law Ray Baker of Bristol; numerous nephews and nieces; and his 5 grandchildren, Brody, Remi, Aiden, Jordan, and Mary. Terry was predeceased by his parents and his sister Barbara Baker.

Family and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, Saturday, August 26, from 11am to 1pm, with a service at 1. Burial will be private. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
