Stephen A. Luba, 77, of Terryville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Stephen was born on May 27, 1944, in Nyack, NY, son of the late Stephen and Margaret (Parcells) Luba.
Stephen was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam war, having served on the USS Intrepid. Stephen loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to run his business, cut wood, and his dog Scooter. After putting his 35 years with the town of Plymouth, he turned his side business into a full-time business, Home & Garden Material Center. He loved nothing more than to load trucks and chat with customers for hours with Scooter at his side. Stephen was also a member of St. Casimir Church and the Town of Plymouth Public Works Commission.
Besides his wife Ann (Korytko) Luba of 56 years, he leaves behind his sons, Matthew Luba and his wife Tabatha of Bristol, and Stephen Luba of Terryville; his daughter Kimberly Luba of June Lake, CA; and his precious grandchildren, Rileigh, Kory, Kaitlyn and Nicole. He is predeceased by his brother Terrance Luba.
Relatives and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home 169 Main St., Terryville on Sunday, December 19th from 1 to 3 pm with a service and military honors to follow. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
