Obituary
Simone F. (Martin) Ouellette, 79 of Terryville, wife of the late Claude Ouellette, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Reservoir in West Hartford. She was born April 13, 1944, in Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Denis and Lydia (Corbin) Martin.
Simone was a very artistic woman. She knitted and was a talented painter and a very good cook. She loved flowers and her garden, and her ceramic bird collection. She enjoyed the beach, and travelling to Ogunquit, ME. Simone loved to dance and go out to dinner with her husband, Claude, but most of all she loved her family.
Simone is survived by her son Brian Ouellette of Torrington; her daughter Denise (Ouellette) Caron and her husband Paul (Dennis) Caron of Terryville; her brother Roland Martin and his wife Jeannette of New Brunswick, CAN; and her grandchildren Jesse, Amanda and Amber Caron. Besides her husband, Simone was predeceased by her siblings, Denise, Theresa, Rosita, Jacque, Fern and Zuesse.
