Scott Michael Langevin Jr., 38, of Thomaston, husband of Jessica (Birkmaier) Langevin, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at home. He was born August 14, 1987, in Meriden, son of Kimberly Ripperger of Terryville.
Scott was a hardworking man, who valued his family more than anything else. He was an avid sports fan, cheering louder than anyone for the New York Yankees and always rooting for the Minnesota Vikings. He truly enjoyed baseball and visiting as many stadiums as he could and was happy to have gotten back into softball recently. He loved going to concerts, NASCAR, fixing things and had a passion for many hobbies, including photography. Most of all, he loved spending time with friends and family. Scott will be missed deeply.
Besides his mom Kimberly, and his wife Jessica, Scott is survived by his son Charlie and his daughter Amelia; his maternal grandmother Gail Heigel of Waterbury; his brother Kalib Bierce of Torrington; his aunt Dawn Matarazzo of Plainville; his very best friend Philip Jarvis of VT, and so many extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
