Scott William Kowalczyk Sr.

Scott W. Kowalczyk Sr., 54, of Terryville, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury after a battle with cancer. Born in Middletown on May 6, 1968, son of the late William and Carolyn (Rogers) Kowalczyk.

Scott worked as a tower worker for companies like Cardinal Communications, CSB and Northeast Communications. He was also a carpenter and worked for O’Dessa Builders. Scott was somewhat of a workaholic. When he wasn't working you could find him at his home hanging out with his kids or working on a car, he was always under a car. In his younger years he loved his motorcycle and loved to ride. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Red Sox.

Scott is survived by his son Scott Kowalczyk Jr. of Terryville; his daughter Tessa Kowalczyk of Terryville and their mother, Tracy Ciriello; his brother, William Kowalczyk and his wife Elizabeth of Middletown; his sisters, Karen Jones of Bristol, Bonnie Pronovost of NY; his nephew, Ryan Kowalczyk of Bristol; and his closest friend, Walter Seaman of Terryville.
