Ruth (Abel) Robillard

Ruth (Abel) Robillard, 101, of Bristol, wife of the late Paul H. Robillard, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. She was born June 22, 1924, in Bristol, daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude Abel.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by O’Connell School. Ruth loved playing cards and camping at Lone Oaks Campsite.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Paula Giramondi of Thomaston, Lorraine Billings and her husband Richard of RI, and Cindy Baird and her husband Tom of FL; her grandchildren, Tammy, Christy, Tommy, Cheryl, Misty, and Billy; her great grandchildren, Samantha, Mason, Adriana, Anthony, Chloe, Debbie, and Charlotte. Besides her parents and her husband, Ruth was predeceased by her son-in-law David Giramondi.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home, one hour prior. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
