Ronald Delpha, 73, of Bristol, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. He was born September 28, 1952, in Bristol, son of the late Harold and Juanita (Nypert) Delpha.
Ron proudly served his country in the US Army. He was the owner of Ronnie D’s Painting, in Bristol. He loved music and classic cars. Ron enjoyed being active, going on walks or biking around Norton Park, even skiing in his younger years. He was a very organized and tidy man and he loved anything with owls.
Ron is survived by his sister-in-law Joan Peirce of Johnston, RI; his nieces, Melissa Oliver and her husband Lake of Plainfield, CT, Kelly Bishop and her husband Keith of Johnston, RI, and Kristy Lagace of Terryville, CT; his great nieces and great nephews, Ashley, Dylan, Brook, Colin and Ruby and many other family members and friends. Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Allen.
A burial at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln, Middletown, with military honors will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 9AM.
