Roberta M. (Vincens) Lemire

Roberta, M. Lemire, 82, of Plainville, wife of the late John E. Swets, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut- New Britain Campus. She was born April 27, 1941, in New Britain, daughter of the late Andrew and Lena (Nappi) Vincens.

Prior to her retirement, Roberta was employed by United Technology in Farmington. She loved to decorate cakes, crochet and do crafts. She liked the beach and loved her family and babysat many of the grandkids.

Roberta is survived by her daughter Michele Fitzsimons and her husband Todd of Burlington; her stepsons, Peter Swets of Bristol and Steven Swets and his wife Laureen of Kensington; her brothers, Andrew Vincens of Manchester and Joseph Vincens of Bristol; her 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Roberta was predeceased by her son Gregory J. Lemire, Sr. and her daughter Ann Marie Lemire.

Family and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, on Monday, July 17, from 9-10:30 AM with a service immediately following. Burial will be in Forestville Cemetery, Forestville. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
