Richard J. Lojewski

Richard J. Lojewski, 83, of Cheshire, former Terryville resident, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Cheshire Regional Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 24, 1939, in Bristol, CT, son of the late Kasmir and Loretta (Kantorski) Lojewski.

Prior to his retirement, Richard worked at the former OZ Gedney for 31 years. He was a member of the Terryville Fish and Game Club.

Richard is survived by his brother Joseph Lojewski and his wife Kim of Medina, OH; his sister Carol Lojewski and her partner Peter Cavallo of Cheshire; his uncle Joseph Kantorski and his wife Marie of South Bridge, MA; his nieces and nephews, Dean DellaVecchia, Lisa DellaVecchia, and Devin Lojewski; his great niece and great nephew Ryan DellaVecchia and Abigail DellaVecchia and many cousins. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Wanda and Andrew DellaVecchia. 

A private graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St. Terryville is assisting with the arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
