Richard Atwood Obituary

Richard Lee Atwood 85, former Terryville resident, passed away on August 29, 2021 at his home in Fairhope, Alabama.

Richard was born on April 19, 1936 in Waterbury, CT, son of the late Albert W. and Esther (Aspinall) Atwood. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Eaton Corporation in Jackson, MS. Richard leaves behind his grandson Josh Goolsby of Fairhope, Alabama, his brother A. William Atwood and his wife Carol, his sister Alison A. Reed of Terryville and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Scotts Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, CT.
