Raymond Brouker, 81, of Terryville, husband of the late Carol (Lukascewicz) Brouker, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Bristol Hospital. He was born June 26, 1943, in Bristol, son of the late Robert and Charlotte (Hempsted) Brouker.
Ray proudly served in the National Guard. Prior to his retirement Ray worked in the HVAC business. He was a parishioner of St. Casimir Church, a member of their Men’s Club, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1090, Terryville. Ray was also an umpire for various little leagues for over 30 years.
Ray is survived by his daughter Samantha Brouker (Ceritello) of Terryville; his grandchildren, Abigail and Timothy Ceritello; his sisters, Charlene Bechard of Plainville, Ruth Rideout of Terryville, Donna Cook of Plainville, and Shirley Ford of AZ; a sister-in-law Diane Brouker of Bristol, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Ray was predeceased by his brothers, Don, Roger, George and Allyn Brouker, and his sisters, Dorothy Brouker and Barbara and Lydia Lamy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 29, 9:30 AM from Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main Street, Terryville, to the St. Casimir Church, 17 Allen Street, Terryville, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Terryville. Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home on Monday, April 28, from 5-7 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
