Piotr Czuchta

Piotr Czuchta, 85, of Bristol, husband of Rozalia (Laba) Czuchta, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He was born March 15, 1938, in Poland, son of the late Izydor and Teudozja Czuchta.

Prior to his retirement, Piotr was employed by Superior Electric of Bristol. He was a member of St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church in Terryville.

Besides his wife, Piotr is survived by his daughter Maria Filak and her husband Andrzej of Bristol; his brother Andrzej Czuchta of Bristol; and his grandchildren, Derek and Paul Filak. Piotr was predeceased by his parents and his son Roman Czuchta.

A Divine Liturgy will be held Tuesday, August 15, at 11 AM at St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church, 35 Allen St, Terryville. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Terryville.
