Paul Pescarmona Obituary

Paul Pescarmona, son of the late Charles and Elia Pescarmona, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in the care of the Boston VA system, after a long period of failing health. He was born on September 8, 1948, in Bristol, CT. Paul is survived by his daughters Shannon (Mark) Drouin of Middlebury, CT and Jupiter, FL, and Sara (Aaron) Schwartz, of Marlborough, CT; his brother Jim (Barbara) of Terryville, CT; godchildren Brody T. Brault of Bristol and Tracy Jefferson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; an aunt, Ruth Gerini of NH, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and other extended family. Paul was predeceased by his beloved brother John.

Paul was a 1966 graduate of Terryville High School, and a 1968 graduate of E.C. Goodwin Tech. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp., serving from 1968-1970. Paul worked as an industrial electrician for many years at Bristol Brass and Ansonia Copper and Brass, retiring from Cuni Casting in April 2013.

Paul loved fly-fishing anywhere with his brother John, most notably in NH.; bowling, swimming and golf, having once registered a hole in one at Westwoods golf course. He was the manager of the Terryville Little League softball Robins for many years, taking them to an undefeated season in 1990. Paul was an avid Red Sox and Minnesota Vikings fan.

Paul was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and American Legion Post 20 of Terryville, and a former member of the Terryville Fish and Game club.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9th. Calling hours are from 10-11 AM at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church at 11 AM. Burial, with military honors, will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Terryville.  www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marine Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army, or Paralyzed Veterans of America.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to the Boston VA system for their loving and dedicated years of care for Paul, especially the SCI unit in Brockton.
