Paul Joseph Grace – May 30, 1927 – December 15, 2022 – Paul passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones by his side. Paul was a life-long resident of Terryville, CT. His wife, Millie, and he spent many years in Florida enjoying their retirement. Paul had a passion for making sure Millie had everything she needed for her crafting. He would always take her shopping, even when he didn’t want to. Paul really enjoyed spending any time he could with his family. He truly appreciated the close sense of togetherness that his family has. Paul honorably served in the United States Coast Guard Merchant Marines and the United States Army. Paul survived battling for the United States in World War II and in the Korean War.
Paul was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 71 years, Millie Grace. He was also predeceased by his son, James Grace, and his wife, Robyn Grace.
Paul leaves behind his daughter, Barbara (Grace) Douyard of Terryville, CT, daughter, Betty (Grace) Rubin and her boyfriend Jim Stowe of Terryville, CT, daughter, Cathy (Grace) and husband Ray Murawski of Gracey, VA, son, William and wife Ginny Grace of Southport, NC. Paul is also survived by numerous grandchildren – Crystal Douyard of Terryville, Kelly (Douyard) and Luis Aguiar of South Windsor, Kimberly (Douyard) and Tim Sweetman of Enfield, Brian Douyard & Makayla Rainey of Thomaston, Heather Rubin & Garrett Petrone of Terryville, Lisa and Chris Feltt of Harwinton, Pamela and Roger DaSilva of North Carolina, Ryan and Lauren Grace of New Hampshire, And Allison Grace of Maine. Paul also leaves behind ten great-grandchildren. Services will be private for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bristol Home Care & Hospice Agency.
