Patricia Marie (Richardson) Loosemore

Patricia Marie (Richardson) Loosemore, 85, of Bristol, CT died on Sunday (May 17, 2026) at Ingram Manor in Bristol after a courageous battle with cancer. Patty was born on October 12, 1940, to the late Thomas F Richardson and Sarah Richardson (Riley) in Concord, NH and grew up in Terryville, CT. She graduated from Terryville High School in 1958.  She lived for many years in Plainville where she raised a family of 3 and then resided in Bristol until her passing.  She worked for many years at General Electric in Plainville and then OZ Gedney in Terryville and was a Sunday school teacher at Church of Our Savior in Plainville.  Some of her loves were her grandchildren, hiking, pickleball, tap dancing, searching for painted rocks and watching hummingbirds.  She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law David and Cindi Richardson, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Margaret Loosemore, daughter Cindi Bradley and son James Loosemore, nephews, Tom Richardson and Marc Richardson.  She had 7 grandchildren: Christopher Bradley, Keith Loosemore, Kyle Loosemore, Reggie Loosemore, Kevin Loosemore, Dustin Bradley and Antonio Franco-Loosemore.  She also had 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers: Thomas, Robert and William.      

Funeral Services will be held 1 P M Thursday May 21, 2026, at Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. Following the service burial will be in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery, Terryville.
