Octave Goodfield

Octave R. Goodfield, 89, of Terryville, husband of the late Rose (Cyr) Goodfield, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at home. He was born January 18, 1935, in Hartford, son of the late Octave and Elizabeth Goodfield.

Octave is a proud peacetime veteran for the US Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Tilcon. He loved his children and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter Catherine LaFrance and her husband Joey; his sons, Robert Goodfield and his wife Renee Wilbur and Paul Goodfield and his wife Cindy; his grandchildren, Melissa, Corey, Paul Jr. and Cassandra; and his 5 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, Octave was predeceased by his sister Callista and his brothers, Ronald and Donald.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
