Monica Ann (Mead) Streeter

Monica Ann (Mead) Streeter, 46, of Terryville, passed away surrounded by her family, on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. She was born April 7, 1977, in Waterbury, daughter of Madeline (Bellavance) Edwards of New Hampshire, and the late Gregory Mead.

Monica was employed by FedEx as a tractor trailer driver. She was very hard-working. Her life centered around her family, and she loved to get everyone together as often as she could. She almost always had a smile on her face, she would always be able to bring out the best in everyone and she loved to ride her motorcycle.

Besides her mother, Monica is survived by her fiancée Rob Vassallo of Terryville; her son Raven Streeter of NH; her step-sons, George Vassallo and his wife Megan of Naugatuck and Brad Vassallo of Naugatuck; her step-daughter Samantha Vassallo and her husband Tyler of Naugatuck; her brothers, Brian Mead and his wife Monique of Tolland and Doug Edwards and his wife Barbara of Naugatuck;  her grandchildren, Jace, Lyla and Hazel; her former husband Robbie Streeter and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
