Matthew James Grozik

Matthew James Grozik, 32 of Cheshire, CT died tragically in a car accident on December 20, 2021, while working.
Matthew was born on December 15, 1989, and graduated from Terryville High school. He lived in Terryville the majority of his life but moved to Cheshire where he planned to stay. He worked for ACG delivering medical equipment for the past few years. Matthew was a loving and giving soul who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered.  He loved his family and his friends dearly. He will always be remembered as a “big teddy bear”.
Matthew is survived by his mother Denise M. Sandino; step-father Joe Sandino; sister Barbara Sandino; maternal grandfather Charles J. Matulis; step-grandmother Cheryl F. Matulis; paternal grandfather Stephen Grozik; aunts Suzanne Matulis and Lesly Bartlett; uncles Stephen Grozik Jr., Paul Grozik, Kevin Matulis, Daniel Matulis and his wife Tanya L. Matulis; cousins Dylan, Anna and Nevaeh Matulis. Matthew also leaves his girlfriend Kim Massimino, many devoted extended family members and friends. Matthew was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Barbara L. Matulis; paternal grandmother Blanche Grozik; and his aunt, Kathy Grozik.
