Mary Ellen (Boucher) Burgos

Mary Ellen (Boucher) Burgos, 74, of Thomaston, wife of Fred Burgos, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden, with her family by her side. She was born December 14, 1951, in Fort Kent, ME, daughter of the late Albert and Melvina (Desjardins) Boucher.

Mary was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. She liked to cook, garden, go antiquing, but most of all she loved her family. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and loved being the host to all holiday dinners and cooking for everyone. She enjoyed decorating her home for each holiday, but especially for Christmas. She was kind, caring, strong and truly loving.

Besides her husband, Fred, Mary leaves behind her children, Shawn Saucier of Thomaston, Aaron Saucier of Thomaston, Parise Cavicchio and her husband Anthony of Plymouth and Shawn Burgos and his wife Amy of Terryville; her siblings, Jean Jackson, Theresa White, Iris Fillio, Philip (Wanda) Boucher, Greta Jordan and Linda Michaud; her sister-in-law Linda (Paul) Santana; her beloved grandchildren, Jeffrey, Shawn, Autumn, Madison, Luke, Arianna, Sienna, Isabella, Zack and Victoria; her great-grandson Jayden, and countless neices, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Donald J. Saucier, and her siblings, Rena-Mae Bourgoin, Rita Shaw, Joel Boucher, Norman Boucher, Marie Parslo, and Rose Roy.

Funeral Services for Mary will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, 11 AM from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, to the Immaculate Conception Church, 170 Main St, Terryville, for a Mass of Christian Burial.
