Martin "Marty" Alexander Letitia

Martin “Marty” Alexander Letitia, 70, of Terryville, husband of Bonnie Brainard Letitia, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Bristol Hospital. He was born on October 8, 1954, in Bristol, son of the late Horace and Sophie (Dudik) Letitia.

Marty proudly served in the US Navy. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Pratt & Whitney in Middletown and East Hartford for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Terryville. Marty liked gardening, cooking, bird watching, fishing, his cats, and was a longtime member of the NRA.

Besides his wife, Marty leaves behind his daughter Danielle Garber-Letitia and her wife Melanie of Boston, MA; his step-son Stephen Mackiewicz of Terryville; his sisters, Chris Hogan of Prospect, ME, Sandy Maro and her husband Al of Forestville, and Sue Palaia and her husband Larry of South Yarmouth, MA; his sister-in-law Donna Brainard of Bristol; and one niece and one nephew. Marty was predeceased by his parents and his brothers-in-law John Hogan and James Brainard.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, 11AM at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 35 Allen St, Terryville, with military honors to follow.
