Marie St. John

Marie (Plourde) St. John, 86, of Bristol, widow of Leo St. John, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at The Pines at Bristol.

Mrs. St. John was born April 24, 1935, in Stockholm, ME to the late Joseph and Marie (Borgoin) Plourde.  Prior to her retirement she was employed by Rowley Spring of Bristol.  She was a parishioner of St. Ann Church, Bristol.

She is survived by her sons, Gerard (Ann) St. John, Philip (Barbara) St. John, Ralph (MaryAnne) St. John, and David (Jeanine) St. John; her daughter, Lorrie (Mark) Belanger; her sisters, Patsy and Linda; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Porrini and Arlene Shoup; her son-in-law, Carl Aubin; her grandchildren, Lynsie, Haley, Norman, Travis, Carl, Jennifer, Philip Jr., Ryan, Melissa, Marysa, Joseph, David, Jay and Justin; several great and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Leo St. John Jr. and daughter, Rosemary Aubin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM on Thursday February 3, 2022, at St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol.  A private burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  There are no calling hours.  Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville is in charge of arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com

Marie’s family would like to thank the many staff members of The Pines in Bristol for taking such good care of Marie these past several years.  Their kindness and dedication is very much appreciated.
