Marie “Mimi” (Sambuco) Millette, 86, of Bristol, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. She was born March 24, 1939, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Anthony Sambuco and Natalie (Maccione) Morelli.
Mimi, originally from Waterbury, went to East Farms Grammar School and was a graduate of Wilby High School. She loved to collect and make ceramics. She enjoyed sewing and going to a good tag-sale. Mimi loved being in her yard, making it as glorious as a picture from Better Homes & Gardens. She was a very simple lady, who will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
Mimi leaves behind her daughter Dawne Pranulis of Plymouth; her grandsons, Brant Pranulis and his wife Tiffany of Unionville and Jason Pranulis and his wife Samantha of Marlborough, NH; her great grandsons, Jackson and Connor Pranulis; her brother John Sambuco of Oakville and her sister Barbara Burgio of Plantsville. Besides her parents, Mimi was predeceased by her brother Richard Sambuco, her granddaughter Adria Pranulis and her son-in-law Robert Pranulis.
Friends and family may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 5-7 PM with a service at 7 PM. Burial will be private in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Waterbury. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
