Marcia Leavy Stemm of Bristol and Mystic passed away on March 14, 2026, after four months of aggressive pancreatic cancer. Born March 20, 1956, Marcia was the daughter of Lucille S. Guzauskas and the late Charles E. Leavy.
Her career in manufactured housing began at the age of 16 and continued through 30 years as President of Mobilehome Parks, Inc. and Liberty Mobilehome Sales, Inc. She was appointed to the Connecticut Manufactured Mobilehome Advisory Council serving for 29 years and held various officer roles in the Connecticut Manufactured Housing Association and the Massachusetts Manufactured Housing Association.
She leaves her mother, Lucille S. Guzauskas, her sister, Deborah Leavy, her loving daughter, Marcia Erica Stemm, her much beloved granddaughters, Marcia Emilee Marquis and Mackenzie Elizabeth Stemm, her devoted and loving partner of 26-years, Joseph Grzelak, an aunt, a niece, several cousins and her extended family, Karen Grzelak Dobosz (husband, John), Macy Fenlason, Michael Fenlason, together with godson, Nolan Short. Marcia was predeceased by her grandmother, Ethel Ozerhauski, her father, Charles E. Leavy and her father by adoption, Martin F. Guzauskas.
Services will be private with a Celebration of Life to be planned for May
