Lori Ann (Lemieux) Sekorski, 58, of Terryville, wife of Mark H. Sekorski, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at UCONN Medical Center, Farmington. She was born January 15, 1964, in Bristol, daughter of Florence (Pellerin) Lemieux of Terryville and the late Gerald A. Lemieux.
Prior to her illness, Lori worked in customer service at The Hartford and prior to that she was owner and operator of Barber Styling by Lori for over 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Casimir Church, Terryville, and a member of the Terryville Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Lori loved her family very much, especially her grandson Wilder. She enjoyed her farm and growing Christmas trees. She also enjoyed going to the fairs and watching her daughter Kim showing cattle and competing in lumberjack competitions. Lori always enjoyed the many trips to Cape Cod with the Cape Cod Crew and loved to sit home and relax in front of the fireplace.
Besides her mother, Lori is survived by her husband Mark H. Sekorski, of 31 years; her daughter Kim and her partner Willie Brown of Stanfordville, NY; her brothers, Gerald (Cindy) Lemieux of Terryville and Gordon (Heidi) Lemieux of Terryville; her sister Michelle (Joe) Byron of Terryville; her grandson Wilder Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, 10 AM at St. Casimir Church, 19 Allen St. Terryville. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Terryville. Family and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St. Terryville, Wednesday from 5-8 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
