Lillian P. (Post) Baldwin

Lillian (Post) Baldwin, 83, of Terryville, wife of George Baldwin, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 27, 1943, in Battle Creek, MI, daughter of the late John and Madeline Post.

Prior to her retirement, Lillian was employed by Tracey-Driscoll Insurance. She loved being outside, tending to her flowers and plants or going on walks around Lake Winfield. Her and George enjoyed traveling once they retired. Lillian was not a “home-body”, she liked to get up and get out of the house at least once a day, even if it meant just going to the grocery store, but if she was home she loved doing the daily crosswords in the paper or piecing together a picture puzzle and “stalking her family” on Facebook. Lillain truly loved her family. Her life revolved around her children, grandchildren and then great-grandchildren.

Besides her “barely tolerated” husband of almost 62 years, George, Lillian leaves behind her son Brian Baldwin and his wife Kelli of Southington; her daughter Tricia Clukey and her husband John of Bangor, ME; her siblings, Darlene Zuraw, Joan Bourque and John Post; her grandchildren, Alexandra Greider, Kenneth Greider, Sarah Legare, Aidan Baldwin, Liam Baldwin, Kyle Clukey and Cameron Clukey; and her precious great-grandchildren, Lorelei, Kaiden, Julien and Elias. Lillian was predeceased by her parents and her daughter Lisa Baldwin-Greider.

Family and friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home in Terryville, on Friday, July 10, from 3:30-5:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ALS United Connecticut or to Brian's Angels Homeless Outreach
