Leola (Harris) Bouthot

Leola Alice (Harris) Bouthot passed away unexpectedly at home, August 13, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Lawrence (“Larry”) Carl Bouthot.

Leola “Lee” was born in Waterbury, CT. on August 29, 1950, daughter of the late Everett Warren Harris and Dorothy Ellen (Wooster) Harris.  Lee worked for many years as a Car Salesperson for Stephen World of Wheels (now Stephen Auto Mall Centre) and then later for Crowley Dodge in Bristol, CT and Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT.  She was very passionate about her work.

She and Larry made their home in Plymouth, Connecticut and raised two children, Larry Bouthot of Plymouth, CT and Michelle Byrne, also of Plymouth, CT.  In addition to her two kids, she leaves behind his brother, Gilbert Harris of Terryville, CT, and his sister Lorri Bardell of Plymouth, CT. She is predeceased by sisters, Carole Merrit Lynne Perugini and Gaye Zukauskas. She also leaves behind a son-in-law, Kyle Byrne of Plymouth, CT and four beloved grandchildren, Wyatt, Eastyn, Brooke and Paige Byrne of Plymouth, CT. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

In her retirement, Lee very much enjoyed going out to breakfast with her family.  She also loved motorcycle rides with her husband, Larry.  She loved being outside in nature. She also loved her grandkids with all her heart. She was always buying them beautiful clothes and visiting with them often.
