Lawrence “Larry” Scott Bouthot, 45, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Friday, October 14, 2022, peacefully in his sleep. Larry was born April 10, 1977, in Bristol, CT, to the late Lawrence “Larry” Carl Bouthot and the late Leola “Lee” Alice (Harris) Bouthot. Larry was raised in Plymouth, CT; he is a 1996 graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical School in Torrington, CT; it was there that he obtained a certificate in Automotive Technology.
Larry spent much of his career working in factories as a Maintenance Mechanic. He worked for a number of years at Truelove and Maclean in Waterbury, CT (now H&T) and then later for Anomatic Corporation in Naugatuck, CT, as a Maintenance Mechanic. Larry had an amazing mechanical aptitude and was very good at repairing various types of machinery. In addition to his work as a Maintenance Mechanic, he was also talented in fixing all types of cars and trucks. He also enjoyed working with wood.
Larry was known for his fun and outgoing personality. He always made his friends and family laugh. He was always living for the moment and always available to help his friends with almost anything. Larry had a passion for riding his Harley. He went almost annually to the Harley Rendezvous in New York state.
Larry is predeceased by his parents Larry and Lee (Harris) Bouthot. He is survived by his sister, Michelle Byrne, and her husband Kyle of Plymouth, CT. He leaves behind two nephews, Wyatt and Eastyn Byrne, and two nieces, Brooke and Paige Byrne. He will be deeply missed by his childhood friends, Michael Guerrera, Mike Monahan, Rob Fiore, and many others. He leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His family and friends will forever cherish Larry.
