Larry Francis Rushford, 90, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Apple Rehab of Watertown. He was born May 16, 1934, in Enosburg Falls, VT, son of the late Harley and Ruby (Mercy) Rushford.
Prior to his retirement, Larry was employed by Pine Grove Cemetery, where he had worked for over 30 years. He grew up in Fletcher, VT on his family farm. He loved to fish, and to tell stories, to make people laugh and smile. Larry was always there to help anyone who needed it. He was a family man; a great dad who loved being promoted to grandfather and great-grandfather. Larry was hardworking, honest and a kind man who will be missed by so many who knew him.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Lori Young and her husband Kenneth of Plymouth, Lisa Sebastiano and her husband Anthony of Watertown, and Leslie Gamelin of Wolcott; his grandchildren, Michelle Young, Kenneth Young Jr., Denielle Gamelin and Devon Gamelin; his great-grandchildren, Morgan, Cameron, Carter and Cadence and several nieces and nephews, both in CT and VT. Larry was predeceased by his parents, his brother Harley Jr, and his sister Beulah Sylvester.
The family would like to thank both the staff and the residents at Apple Rehab of Watertown for their care, comfort and kindness to Larry, as well as Accent Hospice for their guidance and care.
