Kevin A. Squires

Kevin A. Squires, 65, of Terryville, husband of Barbara (Byram) Squires, passed away Sunday August 22, 2021 at his home.

Kevin was born March 5, 1956 in Mount Kisco, NY, son of the late Charles and Lydia (Hendricks) Squires.  Kevin was a self-employed carpenter and had worked for many years at the Terryville Polish Club.  He was a member and past president of the Terryville Lions Club and member of the Terryville Polish Club.  Kevin received the Melvin Jones Fellowship for his dedication and hard work for the Terryville Lions Club and Terryville Fair. There is not a single area of the Terryville Fair Grounds that Kevin did not help create, build, or maintain, he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife Barbie, he leaves his daughter, Kari Squires of Terryville; his brother, Wayne Squires and his wife, Elena of Terryville; his sister, Aileen “Chic” Squires of Punta Gorda, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Sindee Squires.

A celebration of life will be held 2PM Sunday September 12, 2021 at the Terryville Polish Club, 35 Bushnell St., Terryville.  Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville is assisting the family with arrangements.
