Kelly A. (Ciasullo) Knox-Cimino, 47 of Plymouth, wife of Jason Cimino, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at home. She was born February 3, 1979, in Waterbury, daughter of late James Rizk and Adelia (Gule) Ciasullo.
Kelly worked in the healthcare field, but for most of her life she was a horse trainer. Horses were truly a part of who she was, and her love for animals carried through everything she did. She was an avid animal lover, a true people person, a devoted karate mom, and an incredible cook. If she wasn’t capturing moments of those around her, she was often snapping “selfies” with her loved ones, always finding joy in the little things. She loved to cook and made sure no one ever left her home hungry, always preparing more than enough to share and providing snacks everywhere she went. Kelly found peace at the beach, simply being by the ocean, and loved “glamping” at the KOA with her family. She had a kind and generous heart and touched the lives of everyone she met—both people and animals—and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Besides her beloved husband, Jason, Kelly leaves behind her children, Emilee Knox Cimino and her fiancée Nicholas Gentile, Pasquale Cimino and Skylar Cimino, all of Plymouth. Kelly also leaves behind her sisters, Desiree Ciasullo, Renne Dwyer, Deborah Bernardi, Carolyn Dumond and her brothers, James Rizk, Billy Rizk and Robert Rizk. Kelly was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Richard Rizk.
Family and friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5-8PM, with a prayer service starting at 7:45PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
