Judith (Murray) Mackiewicz

Judith (Murray) Mackiewicz, 88, of Terryville, widow of George Mackiewicz Sr, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Valerie Manor in Torrington. She was born November 23, 1935, in Millinocket, ME, daughter of the late Walter Jr. and Pauline (Waite) Murray.

Prior to her retirement, Judith was employed by Terryville Furniture, the Bristol Water Company, and Stop & Shop of Torrington. Judith was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved to bake and cook for her family and was an extremely caring and loving individual.

Judith is survived by her sons, George Mackiewicz Jr. and his wife Diane of Harwinton, Wayne Mackiewicz and his wife Allyson of Harwinton and Kevin Mackiewicz of Litchfield; her brother Gary Murray of CT; her grandchildren, Brian, Jason, Amy, and Matthew and his wife Ashley; and her greatgrandchildren, Olivia and Owen.

Family and friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, Friday, October 25, from 9-11 AM with a service at 11. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Terryville. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
