Joseph K Kasfeldt

Joseph K. Kasfeldt, 38, of West Haven, CT passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Joseph was born March 21, 1983, in Waterbury, to Susan (Houghtaling) DeMezzo of Plymouth and Joseph K. Kasfeldt of FL.

 Joe served for four years in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea. Joe loved to watch documentaries and he loved to research everything!! Joe had a passion for electronics and helping others, but most importantly, Joe loved his family.

Besides his parents, Joe is survived by his grandmother Josephine Houghtaling, of Wolcott; his sisters, Kristina Nocera and her husband Steven of Terryville, Amanda Allen of Plymouth, Sarah Stemm and her fiancé Dillon, of Bristol; his step-sisters, Michelle Santoro and her husband Mike of Torrington, Cheryl Therriault and her husband Andrew of Torrington; his nieces and nephews, Aaliyah, Connor, Christopher, Emma, Parker and Liam.  He leaves many beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Gary DeMezzo, who was a very important person in Joe’s life; and his step-mother Celine Kasfeldt.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday 3 PM at Scott Funeral Home 169 Main St. Terryville. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 1- 3 pm.
