Joseph James Jackson, 54, of Bristol, husband of Lisa Fioravanti-Jackson, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury. He was born May 8, 1971, in New Haven, son of the late Wellington James Jackson Jr. and Lillian (Clapez) Jackson.
Joe was employed by Pool Water Pat in Wolcott. He was a member of the DAV in Bristol and B.P.O.E. Lodge #1010 in Bristol. He could be described as a man of simple pleasures. He was a great diesel mechanic, he enjoyed camping and being outdoors and he liked motorcycles, especially Harley’s. He lived life fast and loud and loved his family.
Besides his wife, Lisa, Joe leaves behind his sons, Joseph Jackson Jr, and Nicholas Jackson, both of PA; his daughters, Carlie Cabiya (Andrew Churchill) of New Britain and Alicia Jackson of PA; his step-son Kainan LaFleur (Amanda) of Bristol; his sisters Ann Marie Edwards (Harry) of AZ and Denise L. Snay (Christopher) of Bristol; his 16 beloved grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and his friends.
