Joseph S. Bukowski

Joseph S. Bukowski, 52, of Sanford, NC, former Terryville resident, husband of Tammy Testa-Bukowski, passed away June 12, 2026, at home. He was born on August 30, 1973, in Bristol, son of Zyta (Zajac) Bukowski and the late Steve Bukowski.

Joseph had worked in sales all of his life. He was a graduate of UCONN in business finance. He was an avid sportsman and loved to support UCONN sports teams.

Besides his beloved wife, Joseph leaves behind his son Domenick Bukowski; his stepsons, Tyler and Christopher Testa; his brother Daniel Bukowski; his sisters Susan Bukowski and Jean (David) Sekorski and family; his aunt Stefania (Jozef) Bober and family; and his goddaughter/niece Jocelyn Bukowski.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2026, from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville to St. Casimir Church, 17 Allen St, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 AM until leaving for church.
