John L. Wunsch

John L. Wunsch, 86, of Terryville, husband of the late Charlotte (Foster) Wunsch, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Bristol Hospital. He was born March 18, 1937, in New Britain, son of the late John and Helen (Zelanski) Wunsch.

John proudly served in the National Guard. Prior to his retirement, John was employed by Pratt & Whitney in Cheshire. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Terryville.

John is survived by his son John C. Wunsch of Terryville; his brothers, Norman Wunsch and his wife Sandra of SC and Jerry Wunsch and his wife Donna of Terryville; his sisters, Shirley Douglas of Bristol and Donna Sears of Terryville; his grandchildren Jessica, John and Casie; his great grandchildren Cara and Richard; his daughter-in-law Danah Wunsch of Terryville and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, John was predeceased by his son Jeffrey Wunsch and his daughter-in-law Peggy Wunsch.
