John Wujcik Sr., 50, of Terryville, was called home by our Lord unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital. Born in Waterbury to the late Nan Hui Wujcik and the late Donald Wujcik of Palm Bay, Florida. John was raised in Thomaston and then later settled in Terryville with his wife to raise their family. John was a dedicated employee of the Department of Developmental Services at Southbury Training School for 30 years. He loved his clients as if they were his family. John was a kindhearted man that loved his family immensely and he did his absolute best to ensure that they knew it. Life will never be the same without you in it Poopie! We will love you forever!
Left to cherish in his memory are his devoted wife, Carolyn (Moran) Wujcik, his daughter Aysiaa Rose Wujcik and his son John Wujcik Jr all of Terryville; a niece Brianna “Bunny” Brown of Thomaston; mother-in-law Rose “Mama Rosie” Moran of Terryville; sister-in-law and travel mate Michele Moran of Naugatuck; brother-in-law John “Prank Master “Moran; and a daughter Deanna Wujcik.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, 10 AM at St. Casimir Church, 17 Allen St, Terryville. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
