John C. Pajeski
Obituary
John C. Pajeski, 84, of Terryville, passed away July 25, 2023, at home. He was born July 20, 1939, in Bristol, son of the late John D. and Victoria Ann (Hurish) Pajewski.
John was a graduate of Terryville High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by New England Real Estate and was also employed by Pratt & Whitney. John was the Town Councilman and on the Republican Town Committee. He was a member of the Terryville Lions Club, the Old Newgate Coon Club in Norfolk, and the Thomaston Fish & Game. He was an avid bird hunter with his German Shorthair dogs, Ziva and Olaf. John also enjoyed running the fried dough concession at the Terryville Fair.
John is survived by his daughter Kimm Santora and her partner Dave Glass of Mystic; his son Michael Payne and his wife Lisa of Mystic; his brothers, Stephen Pajeski and his wife Constance of Benton, LA and Paul Pajeski and his companion Nancy Delliber of Terryville; his grandchildren, Jessica Santora, Sarah Rapuano, Christina Santora and Owen Payne; his 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his sister Eleanor Petke.
