John C. Miecznikowski

John C. Miecznikowski, 74, of Sunny Isles Beach, FL, and Thomaston, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. Born September 21, 1947, in Waterbury, son of the late Chester and Regina (Skulski) Miecznikowski.

John was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Prior to his retirement, he was a Bank Executive for Thomaston Savings Bank. 

John is survived by his nephews, James Miecznikowski and Allan Miecznikowski; his aunts, Theresa Miecznikowski and Carol Skulski; and several cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his fiancé Luisa Anderson; his brother Peter Miecznikowski; and his cousin Michael Skulski.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11am, from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, to St. Thomas Church, Thomaston, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am.
