John P. McLean, 58, of Plymouth, husband of Maria (Policarpo) McLean passed away Monday November 15, 2021 at Silver Springs Health Care Center, Meriden.
John was born July 9, 1963 in Waterbury, CT, son of the late Ronald & Dorothy (Manthey) McLean. John served in the U.S. Airforce. He was employed as a CNC machine operator. He was a member of the American Legion, Plymouth Post #20. He loved his family, NASCAR, fishing and was a big sports fan.
Besides his wife Maria he is survived by his son, Glen Policarpio of Bristol; his daughter, Joanna Farias and her husband Joseph of East Hampton; his brothers, William McLean of Waterbury, Ronald McLean of Clover, SC, Robert McLean of Naugatuck; his sisters, Patricia Green of Naugatuck, Joanne Labbe of Watertown, Deborah McLean of Watertown and his grandchildren, Haydon, Lila and Lucas Farias. He was predeceased by his sister, Eileen McLean.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 9:30 AM November 20, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville with military honors to follow. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville is assisting the family with arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
