John Thomas Kerski, 60, of Bristol, beloved husband, brother and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born January 3, 1963, in Waterbury, son of the late Bronislaw and Dorothy (Durant) Kerski.
John was employed by CT Crane and Hoist of Plymouth, as a Branch Manager. He loved his job and the company he worked for and had the upmost respect for them. John worked as hard as he could for as long as he could and you could say he was a book of knowledge for the crane business. John was tough, but fair and loved everyone wholeheartedly. He loved motorcycles and animals, but most of all he loved his family.
John leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Sandy (Perry) Kerski; his brothers, Jimmy Kerski and his wife Terry of FL, and Bobby Kerski of Germany; his sisters, Dorothy Kerski and her husband Steve of Wolcott and Carol Bousquet of FL; his 3 grandchildren, Nick, Makenzie and “little peanut” Skylar. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his siblings, Paul, Dave and Diane Kerski.
Family and friends may visit the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5-7 PM with a service at 7. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in John’s memory, to an animal rescue foundation of your choice. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
