John W. Cody Jr.

John W. Cody Jr. passed away at his home on July 26th, 2022. He was born in Waterbury, CT on November 19th, 1963, to John W. Cody Sr. and the late Joanne (Charette) Cody. 

John graduated from Wilby High School in Waterbury where he lettered in Track and Field. John was a diesel mechanic for most of his life and took pride in his work. John especially enjoyed the outdoors and spent many days in the woods and on the water with family and friends. 

He is survived by his children; David Cody and his wife Jocelyn and grandson Owen of Bristol; his daughter Rebecca Cody of Avon. He also leaves behind his father, John Cody Sr. and wife Kim of Wolcott; his brother Michael Cody and wife Leslie of Waterbury, as well as his nephews Michael, Thomas and Brandon. 

A Celebration of Life will be arranged by the family at a later date.
