Jennie Serrano-Zalaski

Jennie Serrano-Zalaski, 42, of Terryville, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury. She was born November 8, 1980, in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Jean (Downs) Zalaski.

Jennie loved to draw and write. She loved animals, children, cats and was very family oriented.

Besides her parents, Jennie is survived by her paternal grandmother Elzina Zalaski; her maternal grandmother Nancy Downs; her brother Raymond Serrano; her sisters, Ruth Serrano Zalaski, Nicole Zalaski, Michelle Serrano, and Lucy Serrano; and her husband Greg Kalosky. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, including Christopher, Melissa, Jonas and Shane Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 23, 2023, 11 AM at the Terryville Congregational Church, 233 Main Street, Terryville. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, is assisting with the arrangements.
